About Venue 290

Venue 290 is a renovated historic department store dating to 1912, with more than 10,000 square feet of celebration space. Its indoor and outdoor areas include a ceremony chapel, grand ballroom, courtyard/patio, and rooftop. The ballroom retains original hardwood floors, pressed tin ceiling tiles, columns, and a staircase; the chapel features natural light, antique oak pews, drapery, and chandeliers. Separate ceremony and reception spaces allow guests to move to the ballroom for the reception without a room flip. The venue offers getting-ready suites, with hair and makeup stations and lounge seating in the bridal suite, and a TV, private bathroom, and dressing area in the grooms lounge. Wedding options include all-inclusive packages and a venue-only package; services can include planning and coordination, catering, bartending, cake, florals, photography, and DJ. Tables, chairs, decor inventory, venue staff support, accessible ceremony and reception areas, and paved parking are also described. The FAQ lists a maximum capacity of 98 guests including the couple and 50 parking spaces. Nearby lodging options are noted, including a hotel less than 1.5 miles away.
