About Timbers Edge Wedding & Event Centre

Timbers Edge is a modern rural wedding and event venue set along timber behind the Iowa River, just outside Steamboat Rock. Its reception area accommodates up to 330 guests indoors, with patio space for an additional 50. Couples can choose an outdoor ceremony site by the timber or an indoor ceremony option. The building has a modern farmhouse interior with large windows, wooden tables, black chairs and antique chandeliers; its west-facing barn doors open toward the timber and patio, with a glass door that can remain closed to retain the view while limiting exposure to outdoor air. Private bride and groom suites on the balcony level open onto a shared balcony. The venue offers in-house artificial floral and décor styling, including setup and breakdown. Catering is provided by recommended outside vendors, which are not required by the venue.
