Tilden Hotel

About Tilden Hotel

Tilden Hotel is a renovated 1928 Art Deco landmark on Taylor Street, two blocks from Union Square. The hotel offers two event spaces totaling 2,000 square feet, and explicitly welcomes weddings, rehearsal dinners and wedding-party bookings. The rooftop penthouse pairs an indoor living-room-style space with a private rooftop overlooking Union Square and the theatre district; the hotel also describes cocktail receptions and seated dinners there. The Mechanics Room provides a separate indoor option for meetings and events. The hotel has 119 rooms and suites, including a penthouse with a private rooftop, and on-site dining with a Mexican restaurant and bar and a French-inspired café. Penthouse event food is arranged through a partnership with Chef Steph, with menus built around the event. Event fees vary by day and group size; contact the sales team for rates and availability.
