The Venue at Carley Brook

Wedding venue in Honesdale, Pennsylvania

About The Venue at Carley Brook

Set on a 185-acre estate in Honesdale, the venue offers a renovated, heated and cooled barn and a permanent 30-foot clear atrium as interchangeable indoor ceremony and reception spaces. The atrium accommodates up to 200 guests for dinner. Outdoors, the hillside Open-air Chapel has custom-built benches for 154, with folding chairs available for ceremonies of up to 250. The Hillside Patio can extend dinner seating for weddings up to 250 in peak season; a tent is required for that larger outdoor and indoor arrangement if inclement weather forces guests inside. The Stone Arena Patio and Hillside Patio provide outdoor cocktail areas, and the property has varied locations for photographs. The Something Blue Suite has two rooms, getting-ready vanities, seating, a mini fridge and private bathroom; the Heritage Loft includes a pool table, shuffleboard, bar, TV and seating. Both suites are temperature controlled. Bookings include in-house coordination, a complimentary engagement photo session, tables and chairs, ceremony benches, an indoor bar, cocktail tables, outdoor furniture and propane tower heaters. The venue has indoor restrooms, parking for 100 vehicles including handicapped spaces, and wheelchair access in indoor spaces and both outdoor cocktail areas; staff can assist with ATV transport to other outdoor areas. Catering and bar service are separate, and the venue provides a preferred vendor list. Lodging is not provided on site.
