The Urban Collective is a downtown private-event and community venue at 1070 Market Street in Wheeling, West Virginia, which opened in November 2025. Its main room offers about 1,200 square feet of flexible space with raw brick, warm lighting, an open floor plan and a downtown view. The room can be configured for seated dinners, cocktail-style gatherings, workshops, performances, pop-up shops and community events, with 50 guests comfortably seated and up to 65 with creative table layouts. Private celebrations such as birthdays, showers, rehearsal dinners, anniversaries and graduations are booked as four-hour rental packages, and each private booking includes a dedicated Event Host who helps with arrival, unloading, setup and venue questions. Where an approved alcohol package and bar-service plan is in place, the Event Host can also serve as bartender. Outside food or a caterer can be part of an event plan, and linens, chair covers, place settings, photo experiences and cleaning options can be added. Guests can park on the street or in the 11th Street Parking Garage directly across the street, and a marked loading zone in front of the venue is available during setup.
