About The Skinner Barn
The Skinner Barn is a restored 1891 post-and-beam dairy barn on a 15-acre property in Waitsfield, with mountain views, meadows, a pond and Clay Brook. Weddings can use three outdoor meadow ceremony sites, with an indoor ceremony option in the hayloft for poor weather. Celebrations move between the grounds and the barn; the hayloft seats up to 100 for receptions, and the lower level has restrooms, a bar and two wedding-party ready rooms. The barn is open for events from mid-May through mid-October.

- For the 2026–2027 seasons, wedding site fees are $5,000 for weddings of up to 100 people, including a 12-hour period, or $3,000 for weddings of 50 or fewer, with a six-hour on-site period. The site fee is the same any day of the season. Optional rentals have separate fees.
