The Olympia Ballroom is a historic event venue at 116 Legion Way SE in downtown Olympia, Washington, operated by the nonprofit Oly Bee Society. The nonprofit renovated the building's ballroom in 2021 with a new wood floor, emerald curtains, chandeliers, a new stage, mezzanine couches, acoustic panels and new signage. The venue is made up of a main ballroom, a ballroom lobby and a mezzanine, with a back storage room (green room) that has kitchen tables, space for food preparation, a refrigerator, a freezer and water dispensers. The main ballroom holds 200 to 300 guests, the ballroom lobby 70 to 80, and the mezzanine 50 to 70. Layouts listed include dining style, theater and concert style. Audio, tables and chairs are included in the ballroom rental, and renters may decorate the space. There are no catering, food, drink or alcohol restrictions, and the venue offers canned spirits bar service under a snack bar license, along with mobile bar furniture for rent. Music may play until 11:30 PM on Friday and Saturday and until 10 PM Sunday through Thursday. Street parking is available, with parking lots within walking distance.
