About The Neon House
The Neon House is a 12,000-plus-square-foot, two-story event venue in downtown Norfolk, with historic industrial character and modern design. Its Studio is described as a modern industrial warehouse with brick walls, exposed beams, an 18-foot glass garage door and floor-to-ceiling windows; it can host a ceremony or reception. The Gallery offers brick walls, architectural details and natural light. The Suite provides a private bathroom and kitchen for wedding-party preparations, while the adjacent Loft can serve as a lounge or cocktail-hour space. The venue offers multiple spaces for ceremonies, cocktail hours and receptions, as well as private parties and corporate events. Rentals include 200 oakwood crossback chairs with cushions and a selection of round, banquet and cocktail tables. Chef by Design is the exclusive food and beverage provider, with specialty cakes excepted; its team handles table setup and can assist with rentals, design, floor plans and event management. For private invitation-only events, clients may provide their own alcohol subject to Virginia ABC requirements. Valet is required for events of 100 guests or more; nearby-lot parking may be negotiated for events that do not require valet. Events must end by 11 p.m., and cleanup must be complete by midnight. An on-site representative opens the facility, and evening events have on-site security. Hourly extensions are offered at $350, subject to availability.
