Set on the east bank of the Rum River, a few blocks from downtown Anoka, The Mill Site occupies a 1907 building with original wood beams, high ceilings and arched brickwork. The venue offers indoor and outdoor ceremony options, as well as riverfront outdoor space and views. The space accommodates 150 seated guests; open-house style events can host more than 200. Tables and chairs for up to 200, a private lockable room, a prep kitchen for caterers and a layout consultation are included with rentals. The venue is accessible. Couples must have a planner or coordinator for the ceremony, reception and rehearsal. Food and alcohol service must be provided by licensed caterers or bartenders approved by the venue; outside caterers are allowed with a fee, and there is no food or beverage minimum.

Other event pricing varies by event type, date, guest count and nonprofit rates. A nonrefundable 50% rental deposit is required; bookings within six months require full payment. A 3.5% fee applies to card and electronic transactions.
