About The Inn at Lynden

The Inn at Lynden occupies the Waples Mercantile Building, a former department store built in 1914 in downtown Lynden, Washington, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The building holds a boutique hotel of 35 guest rooms and shares its ground with four specialty merchants. Its event space, Rübus Events + Gatherings, is a roughly 4,300-square-foot room inside the building with old-growth timber beams, concrete finishes, a grand staircase and a central serving bar. It accommodates 50 to 160 guests, can be set up in a variety of layouts, and is offered for presentations, ceremonies and other celebrations. Smaller meeting rooms, the Waples Room (12 to 20 guests) and the Edson Room (4 to 6 guests), serve smaller gatherings, and guest rooms in the building are available for getting ready on event day.

Pricing note

Rübus Events + Gatherings rental: $1,400 plus tax Sunday through Thursday and $2,200 plus tax Friday and Saturday; extra hours are $150 per hour plus tax, and hourly rates with minimum requirements are available on request. A $500 non-refundable deposit holds a date and the balance is due 30 days before the event. Rates for the Waples Room and Edson Room are not published.
