The Hotel at Kirkwood Center

About The Hotel at Kirkwood Center

Located on the Kirkwood Community College campus in Cedar Rapids, The Hotel at Kirkwood Center offers indoor and outdoor wedding settings. The Atrium is available for ceremonies, and the formal garden hosts outdoor ceremonies for 20–300 guests. Receptions can take place in the 7,454-square-foot Ballroom, which seats up to 450 for a banquet, or the 4,100-square-foot Pre-function Area, which accommodates up to 300. The hotel also offers rehearsal dinners on its patio, in the lobby, or in the glass Atrium. Event planners help with menus, room layout, décor, catering, setup and cleanup; food and beverage for on-property events must be purchased and served through the hotel. Wedding parties can use a preparation room, and guest room blocks, shuttle service for hotel guests, complimentary self-parking and Wi-Fi are available. A Deluxe King room is offered for the wedding night, with a paid upgrade to a two-room Presidential Suite.
