About The Hitching Post
The Hitching Post is an authentic 1936 barn set among 40 acres of mature oak forest, with a pond and surrounding grounds. Its event spaces include an upstairs loft for dining, a main floor, a 700-square-foot deck, an outdoor patio, and a yard used for outdoor ceremonies. The loft seats approximately 300. The barn has restrooms, a catering lean-to, tables and chairs, electricity, and rec games. A wedding package includes use of the barn and grounds Thursday through Sunday, staff support during the event, and overnight accommodation in the Bridal House, Bunk House, and three cabins.
