The Hackney is a restored 1922 bank building in historic downtown Washington, with indoor event space and an outdoor patio. Its main dining hall seats up to 60 for a formal meal or accommodates up to 100 for a reception. The mezzanine accommodates up to 40 for either formal dining or a reception; combined, the indoor spaces accommodate up to 100 for formal dining or 140 for a reception. The patio spans more than 2,500 square feet and accommodates up to 200. The venue offers event catering ranging from coursed meals to cocktail-hour nibbles, with a restaurant, distillery and whole-hog barbecue operation supporting food and beverage service.
