The Grand Magnolia House

About The Grand Magnolia House

The Grand Magnolia House is a restored Southern Colonial home dating to the 1860s, set in Marshallville among landscaped gardens, pecan trees and magnolias. The property offers outdoor ceremony settings including the gazebo, pergola, front lawn, 4,000-square-foot deck, Veranda Garden, Secret Garden, Bamboo Forest and Magnolia Grove. Couples can hold ceremonies in the gardens, cocktails on the veranda, and receptions on the lawn or inside the house. Indoor areas include parlors, gathering rooms, dining areas and a grand ballroom and parlor; an indoor backup is available for outdoor weddings in case of rain. The house includes a bridal suite, two private wedding-day suites, a caterer prep kitchen, two restroom facilities, and tables and chairs. The kitchen is for countertop preparation; its stove cannot be used. Beer, wine and one signature cocktail are allowed, with the couple supplying the alcohol and bar setup. Parking is available next door with an attendant when booked. The venue reports capacity for up to 225 guests on the property, without separate capacities for individual spaces. Five furnished rooms provide overnight lodging for up to 14 guests, with 3½ bathrooms. Listed room configurations include two king beds, two queen beds, two full beds and a sleeper sofa. The Bridal Suite includes a queen bed, sleeper sofa and private bathroom; the other rooms have a mix of private and shared bathrooms. All-inclusive and DIY wedding packages are offered, with customizable options that may include catering, cake, florals, DJ and entertainment, photography, coordination and décor. Setup, breakdown, cleanup and trash removal are listed among the available services. A 30-by-50-foot white tent is available as an add-on for weather. Free tours are available by appointment.
