About The Grand Inheritance

The Grand Inheritance is a historic Southern mansion at 198 Hix Ln in Gallatin, Tennessee, built circa 1790 by Major David Wilson, a North Carolina veteran of the American Revolution. The house is encased in four layers of brick, and the property has been owned by the Scott family since 2002, who renovated and preserved the home and were recognized by a 2006 Tennessee House joint resolution for that work. The grounds include a 3,200 square-foot ballroom built for weddings, business meetings and music events. The mansion also contains a large banquet room for group meetings, rehearsals and private dinners. Weddings and events are arranged by appointment: couples and planners are invited to call to set up a tour and book the date.
