About The Gathering Place

The Gathering Place is a modern event venue in Clarksville with several flexible rooms for wedding ceremonies and receptions. The Patuxent Grand Ballroom accommodates up to 265 for a seated dinner and can be divided for an intimate ceremony followed by cocktails and a reception. It has a 25-foot ceiling, built-in lighting, a stage and an oversized dance floor. The Potomac Room accommodates up to 100 seated at round tables or 175 theater-style and opens to a landscaped, lit patio; the Patapsco Room accommodates up to 60 and also has patio access. Five smaller rooms accommodate up to 30 each. A private Wedding Parlor is available for couples and attendants to get ready, for an additional fee. Tables and chairs are provided, and staff handle their setup and breakdown. The venue offers two hours of setup time, a warming and staging kitchen, guest Wi-Fi, audiovisual access, complimentary parking and accessible facilities, patios and restrooms. Couples may use the in-house caterer or bring in a licensed outside caterer, and may work with the in-house planner or an outside planner. The facility is non-smoking, with an outdoor patio area available for smoking.
