About The Gathering Place at Darlington Lake

The Gathering Place is a lakeside wedding venue in Darlington, Pennsylvania, combining Montana lodge pole pine construction with floor-to-ceiling glass walls overlooking Darlington Lake. Its timber-frame reception hall accommodates up to 220 guests and has a built-in dance floor; the glass walls open for airflow or close for cooler weather, when two furnaces provide heat. A waterfront gazebo with guest benches and a walkway over the water offers an outdoor ceremony setting, with an indoor ceremony option in the reception space. A bridal cabin near the main venue has a salon area, lounge space and lake views, and is available from 9:00 AM on the wedding day. The venue permits couples to provide their own alcohol and has a separate log bar, with an indoor backup bar. Catering is provided exclusively by Medure’s Catering, which offers customizable menu options including gluten-free and vegan choices. Weddings are hosted from April through mid-November.
