About The Evans Center

The Evans Center is a banquet and conference facility at 8298 Erie Road in Angola, New York, hosted by the Evans Center Volunteer Fire Company and its Ladies Auxiliary. The building was hand-built in 1971 as an assembly hall and now offers two connected rooms for private events. The main banquet and conference room is 4,875 square feet with 12-foot ceilings and seating for up to 325 guests. It accommodates rectangular or round tables, with cocktail tables and stools available on request, and can be custom configured to the event and number of attendees. A 1,300-square-foot Lodge can serve as a separate room for up to 100 guests, can be opened to the main room through a configurable 22-panel wall system, or can be used standing-room only. Together the two areas offer more than 6,100 square feet. Weddings and receptions are among the events the space is suited for. The main room has a 20-by-30-foot dance floor, a stage area for a live band or DJ, party lighting with a center disco ball, and a three-channel speaker system with wireless microphone options; multimedia screens and a mobile AV cart with a projector are available. The Lodge has a bar with beer and pop taps and a wall-mounted HDTV. The commercial kitchen, of more than 200 square feet, includes a six-burner range with griddle, dual ovens, a microwave, a large refrigerator and commercial dishwashing, with a separate service and delivery entrance. Clients may bring their own caterer or have the venue arrange one. The event planning team can also coordinate transportation, music, florals, photography and cake. The paved lot holds more than 100 vehicles, including reserved handicap parking.
