The District

About The District

The District occupies historic Memorial Hall in downtown Richmond, with soaring wood ceilings and original brick walls. The 3,000-square-foot Grand Room opens onto a 3,000-square-foot covered brick patio that can be used rain or shine; optional heaters are available to rent. A private alley can be used for ceremonies, food trucks, games, or as an extension of the event. Indoor ceremony layouts accommodate up to 200 guests. The English basement includes a bridal suite and an on-site prep kitchen. Wood tables and chairs, outdoor and lounge furniture, and event-day setup and coordination services are included.

Pricing note

Wedding venue rental prices for 2026–2028 vary by day and season: June–October rates are $8,500 Friday, $9,500 Saturday, and $5,500 Sunday; November–May rates are $6,500 Friday, $7,500 Saturday, and $5,000 Sunday. An on-site ceremony is $500. Venue pricing includes taxes and fees. Bar packages start at $36 per person for five hours of open bar and two bartenders; this is not a venue rental fee.
