About The Barn at Shady Grove

Set on a 9-acre property at the edge of Bankhead Forest, about six miles from Smith Lake, The Barn at Shady Grove was built for weddings and is climate controlled year-round. The venue offers indoor and outdoor settings, with seating for up to 250 guests. A separate Groom Saloon and Bridal Cottage provide all-day gathering space with TVs, massage chairs, pool tables, sofas, refrigerators and games. Events can include a sound system with DJ, tables and chairs, use of in-house decor, satellite TV, big screens and onsite Wi-Fi. The venue also advertises on-site A-frame cabin stays for 2026.
