The Barn at Cauffiel Estate
Wedding venue in Wilmington, Delaware
About The Barn at Cauffiel Estate
Cauffiel Estate sits on a grassy hill with distant views of the Delaware River, landscaped lawns, gardens, a historic house and gazebo, and an adjacent refurbished bank-style barn. The estate offers indoor and outdoor ceremonies: couples may use the formal gardens, circular lawn, yellow pumphouse area, or the barn. The house and gazebo provide a cocktail-hour setting, while the barn hosts receptions and banquet dinners, with separate spaces for cocktail hour and dinner. The historic house is available for pre-ceremony preparations. The venue offers private get-ready suites, air conditioning throughout, event planning and management, and full-service onsite catering with staff. Food, beverage, and décor rental packages are available. Seven onsite rooms are available for overnight lodging. Most areas are ADA-compliant; parking accommodates about 60 vehicles, with handicapped access spots and a shuttle to overflow parking. Capacity is up to 150 guests.
