About The Barn at Buechler Farms

Set on a 54-acre family farm in Belgium, The Barn at Buechler Farms is a renovated, century-old wood barn with a vaulted main room, exposed beams, chandeliers and twinkling lights. Couples can hold ceremonies inside the barn, on the pond peninsula or in the pavilion. Outdoor areas include a large deck overlooking the garden patio and Lake Michigan, a sunset patio, a courtyard with a waterfall and fire pits, and a covered pavilion. The barn rental includes the granary, deck, Sunset Patio and Garden Patio; the granary has food preparation and serving counters, sinks, a freezer, cooler and buffet tables. The venue provides tables and chairs, indoor restrooms, a bridal suite and a separate heated and air-conditioned groomsmen suite. On-site services and amenities include a venue coordinator, wedding floor staff, lit parking, a stage, an indoor bar, and golf-cart assistance for guests. Catering is arranged separately, and beverages must be purchased through the venue. Five year-round overnight units are available at Whispering Pines Lodging on the farm.

Pricing note

Wedding venue rental is $6,000 for the seasonal April through early November booking, 8 a.m.–11 p.m. The barn's separate general rental contract lists up to six hours at $700 or over six hours at $1,000, with additional charges for heat or air conditioning; those rates are not identified as wedding rental prices. A $600 service fee applies to weddings, and bar service is separately priced.
