The main indoor space has a clear-span cement floor about 150 by 234 feet under an arched steel truss roof roughly 43 feet high at the center. It is used for private, corporate and charity events, gala dinners, parties, awards shows, trade shows, concerts, exhibitions and production shoots. Indoor capacity is approximately 3,000 guests, with about 1,600 for a sit-down dinner and about 3,000 for stand-up or bleacher layouts, figures that depend on fire department approval of the layout. About 6,000 square feet of dressing, production and conference rooms are available, and adjacent exterior areas can be used for tenting, parking and support facilities, which can extend occupancy beyond the indoor space. There is no permanent kitchen on site, so caterers and vendors must provide temporary kitchen and food-prep areas. The hangar is near the 10, 405 and 105 freeways and is a short drive from Los Angeles International and Burbank airports.
