The Ballroom at the Commercial Club

About The Ballroom at the Commercial Club

The Ballroom at the Commercial Club is a historic downtown Salt Lake City event venue in a building designed in 1909. Its 2,700-square-foot ballroom has vaulted ceilings, elegant moldings, dimmable chandeliers, and large windows. The venue offers a ceremony and reception setting in the ballroom, with the grand lobby available for cocktail hour or as an extension of the celebration. Private preparation suites are available for wedding parties, alongside a children’s room and two private meeting rooms. The venue accommodates up to 250 seated guests or 500 for a standing reception. Venue-provided amenities include tables, chairs, soft seating, audiovisual equipment, Wi-Fi, an event supervisor, setup, and cleanup. Couples may use their own licensed and insured caterer; the kitchen is for preparation rather than cooking. The downtown location is near hotels and restaurants, with parking options nearby.
