About Storrier Stearns Japanese Garden
Storrier Stearns Japanese Garden is a two-acre historic garden in Pasadena, created between 1935 and 1940 and restored from 2007 to 2013. Its hill-and-pond landscape includes interconnected koi ponds, waterfalls, winding paths, Japanese bridges, gathering points and vistas beneath mature sycamores and oaks. The Niko-an teahouse overlooks a pond, and one waterfall descends a 25-foot hill. The garden offers the property for private weddings, including ceremony-and-reception, ceremony-only and reception-only celebrations. Events can accommodate up to 120 guests for a seated meal or up to 150 for other event formats.
