Spillian: A Place to Revel

Wedding venue in Fleischmanns, New York

About Spillian: A Place to Revel

Spillian is a restored 1886 Gilded Age mansion on 33 acres of Catskills forest, meadows, and walking trails. Its 8,000-square-foot mansion has main-floor gathering spaces that can be arranged for up to 125 guests, including a porch, a great room with a wood-burning fireplace and vintage Steinway, a dining room with a feasting table for 20, and a tavern in a Victorian sunroom. The meadow is used for ceremonies, dinners, bonfires, and dancing; weddings have also taken place in the woods and on the lawn. The venue describes wedding gatherings for 50 to 125 guests and offers full-facility rentals for weddings and private celebrations. Eight guest rooms are available with program offerings or full-facility rentals. Spillian provides custom menus, a wedding dinner tasting, bar service, planning support, and day-of coordination. On-site resources include tables, seating, table settings, linens, glassware, amplification, decor, and a six-person golf cart. The property has free Wi-Fi in the house and meadow and a large screen for movies or streaming, but no television sets or air conditioning. The long gravel driveway climbs a hill; staff can arrange a ride for guests concerned about the hill. Parking at the mansion is limited, and large events may use railroad-station parking with a shuttle.
