About Space In Logan

Space In Logan is a single event room of about 900 square feet in a restored masonry building that dates to 1882, located across from the city park in the heart of Logan, Iowa. The room has flexible seating, couches, tables and chairs, a movable bar, and a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, and Keurig. It also has a 65-inch HDTV, free Wi-Fi, a webcam, and conference microphones, which suit meetings and presentations. The original 14-foot tin ceiling and masonry construction remain visible, and the heating, cooling, lighting, and power have been fully upgraded. The room is used for meetings, baby showers, parties, pop-up shops, meet-and-greets, youth groups, and community gatherings. Plastic cut-to-length table covers, paper plates, and napkins are available in a range of colors. Renters receive an access code by email about 24 hours before an event and are asked to sweep, take out the trash, clean any large messes, and report damage promptly. Beer and wine may be brought inside but cannot be sold without a license, and open flames are not allowed except birthday candles. Nonprofit and youth organizations may be accommodated at no charge when the space allows.
