Southern Oregon Historical Society
Wedding venue in Medford, Oregon
About Southern Oregon Historical Society
Southern Oregon Historical Society has described plans for an indoor Event Center in its downtown Medford History Center, the historic J. C. Penney building, an Art Deco streamline moderne property. The planned center is intended for weddings, receptions, conferences, and other gatherings. One description outlines a 7,000-square-foot center with a ballroom seating up to 250 and meeting rooms for up to 45 people. An earlier project description covers converting part of the 26,000-square-foot History Center into event space for more than 300 people, with adaptable breakout rooms and audio-visual facilities. The materials describe the project as under development; they do not establish that the center is open or accepting bookings.
