Southern Forest Heritage Museum

About Southern Forest Heritage Museum

Set in the piney woods of Long Leaf, the Southern Forest Heritage Museum preserves a historic sawmill complex. Its primary wedding space is the 5,200-square-foot covered Planer Mill, built in 1910, and the venue also lists a covered open-air sorting shed for events. Couples may choose their own caterer or self-cater; the Magnolia Mill House is available as a bridal-party dressing space in one wedding package. The museum provides package-based wedding reservations and also offers separate meeting and conference rentals.
