South Coast Botanic Garden
Wedding venue in Palos Verdes Peninsula, California
About South Coast Botanic Garden
South Coast Botanic Garden is an 87-acre garden on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, with rolling meadows, garden landscapes and wooded settings. Weddings and celebrations can combine locations for different parts of an event, such as a ceremony in the Amphitheater, cocktails at the Koi Pond Patio and dancing on a meadow. The Garden describes celebrations for 20 guests through weddings for 400. Named event locations include Upper Meadow, Lower Meadow, the Amphitheater, Amphitheater Lawn, Rose Garden and Koi Pond Patio; Frances Young Auditorium is also available for events. Capacities vary by space and setup: for example, Upper Meadow serves up to 1,000 guests in a theater-style setup, while Lower Meadow serves up to 300 in that configuration. The Garden offers a choice of eight preferred caterers, with an option to bring another caterer subject to its requirements.
