Set on 75 acres of private countryside outside Lynchburg, Sorella Farms has Blue Ridge Mountain views, an 1800s Amish-built barn for receptions, and three outdoor ceremony sites: I Do Hill, Walnut Grove, and The Woods. The restored 1827 farmhouse has private preparation areas for the wedding party. The barn seats up to 150 guests; The Woods ceremony site seats around 140, while the other ceremony options can accommodate up to 150. The barn and covered veranda can also serve as ceremony and reception spaces if weather changes plans. Wedding packages include six hours of event time, farmhouse access beginning after 10 a.m., rehearsal access to the grounds the day before, tables and chairs, linens for food and beverage service, a furnished caterer prep area, four restrooms near the barn, and day-of venue facilitation. The expansive veranda is available for cocktail hour, and the stone patio has bistro lighting and a gas fire pit. Parking attendants and golf cart transportation for the bridal party are provided. Couples may choose their own vendors and can request a bartender for beer, wine, and champagne service; the couple provides the alcohol. Vintage carts and décor rentals are also available.
