The Shelton McMurphey Johnson House is a Victorian house museum on the south slope of Skinner Butte, with views of Eugene and the surrounding hills. Built in 1888 in the Queen Anne Revival style, the house features carved exterior woodwork, a polygonal tower, open porches, and large bay windows. The house is available for weddings and other private events. Its first floor is divided into smaller rooms rather than one large event room, and events can use an indoor-outdoor configuration during warmer months.
