About Scottish Rite Cathedral
The Scottish Rite Cathedral is a historic neo-Gothic building in downtown Indianapolis, listed on the National Register of Historic Places and the largest building in the United States devoted to Freemasonry. It offers rentable spaces for wedding ceremonies, wedding receptions, corporate events, and social gatherings. The venue's notable features include a theater seating up to 1,300 guests, a grand ballroom with a mezzanine and parquet dance floor, a main lounge with conversational areas, and the Tiler's Room, a 33-foot cube entrance hall. The 212-foot Singing Tower houses a 54-bell carillon. Catering is provided by Kahn's Catering. Guided tours are available Tuesday through Thursday. Parking is available in a West lot with monthly and daily options.
