Wedding venue in Hartford, Wisconsin
About Schauer Arts Center
Schauer Arts Center is a nonprofit regional performing and visual arts center located in downtown Hartford, Wisconsin, transformed from a 1919 canning factory into an architectural award-winning venue. The center offers a variety of rentable spaces for weddings, including the 549-seat Ruth A. Knoll Theater with a 24-foot deep stage, the Pikes Peak banquet room (capacity 250 banquet style) featuring 14-foot loft ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows, the Suckow Family Art Gallery (capacity 75 banquet style) with exposed beams and hardwood floors, and the Lodge/Ante Room (capacity 40). Wedding ceremonies can be held in the theater or other spaces, and receptions are commonly hosted in Pikes Peak. The venue provides a 400-square-foot prep kitchen, fixed and portable bars, a movable parquet dance floor, sound systems, and professional event coordination. On-site free parking is available, and the adjacent Wisconsin Automotive Museum offers an additional attraction for guests. The center also offers wedding-ready dance lessons with a 10% discount for couples who book their wedding at the venue.
