About San Diego Botanic Garden

San Diego Botanic Garden is a 37-acre urban oasis in Encinitas with four miles of trails, ocean views and a mild year-round climate. The grounds include the Lawn Garden, a broad lawn framed by flowering plants and mature trees; the Walled Garden, an enclosed space within an original adobe and tile wall beside the historic Larabee House; the Lawn House Garden, a multi-level gated garden beside the Palm Canyon Rainforest with the sound of a waterfall; and the Waterfall View Deck, which overlooks a three-story waterfall. The Dickinson Family Education Conservatory is an 8,000-square-foot glass building with rare and unusual plants and hanging plant chandeliers. It contains a multi-purpose main hall and is adjacent to an outdoor amphitheater. The Garden hosts daytime ceremonies, daytime ceremony and reception rentals, and evening receptions. Rental fees include parking and Garden admission for the wedding party and guests during the day. A published approved-vendor list covers catering, beverage service, florists, coordinators, DJs and musicians, rentals, and photographers.

Evening exclusive rental of Walled Garden, Herb Garden and Gazebo Lawn: $7,500 to $8,500 depending on day and season. Deposits, security deposits and add-on fees are excluded.
