Saint Francis Chapel is an unconsecrated, non-denominational chapel in Balboa Park, across from the Museum of Us’s main entrance. Its historic interior features a tile floor, exposed wood beams, bench seating, and a decorated altar. The chapel hosts wedding ceremonies and other life events; receptions are not hosted on-site. The space seats up to 100 people: 88 on the ground floor and 12 in the balcony. Reservations include a private dressing suite, historic organ use, five reserved parking spaces, and a one-hour rehearsal with the full reservation package. The ground level is not ADA accessible; the balcony is accessible, with a wheelchair taking the space of two seats.

Pricing note

The Events Guide lists a $1,800 full reservation for three hours and a $900 two-hour reservation. The full package includes a one-hour rehearsal; the two-hour option does not. A 50% deposit is required, with the balance due one month before the event. Extra time costs $300 per hour plus staffing costs.
