About Running Hare Vineyard
Running Hare Vineyard is a winery at 150 Adelina Road in Prince Frederick, Southern Maryland, with vineyard views, Tuscan-inspired architecture, an outdoor tasting room, and the Southern Maryland Biergarten, which offers 18 draft taps of Maryland craft beer and non-alcoholic beer in cans. The property hosts weddings and private events in both indoor and outdoor spaces. The Tuscan Villa is a multi-purpose facility available year-round for wedding receptions and ceremonies. Its ballroom seats up to 260 people, and a covered portico above the vineyard is available for cocktails; the rental includes the ballroom, portico, tables and chairs, and the Villa also includes a bridal suite. A ceremony site inside the vineyard is reached by a stone walkway from the bridal gate to an Italian pergola, and its rental includes white ceremony chairs. The Hilltop Pavilion is a covered outdoor pavilion among the vines, built from trees harvested on the property, with a capacity of 60 people. The Events Field is a large open space for special events, and the tasting room and Biergarten can each be rented privately Monday through Wednesday. Private rentals carry a three-hour minimum, and tours are by appointment only. Clients may use their own caterer or choose from the vineyard's local partners, and outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted at private events. On-site staff support event coordination, and setup and breakdown assistance with tables and chairs is available for most venues. Rotating food trucks operate on site, guests may bring their own food, and parking is ample.
