About River Course at the Alisal

River Course at the Alisal is an 18-hole, Par 72 public golf course at 150 Alisal Road in Solvang, in California's Santa Ynez Valley. The course is set among foothills and the Santa Ynez Mountains, with four lakes and the Santa Ynez River winding through it, in a riverside setting described as free of housing developments and condos. For celebrations, the River Grill Restaurant seats 80 guests indoors under a high-beamed ceiling, wall-to-wall windows and a stone fireplace. Its patio accommodates up to 200 guests for a sit-down dinner or 250 for a stand-up reception, and group meals on the patio overlook the course. The banquet team customizes menus for brunches, luncheon barbecues, cocktail and hors d'oeuvres receptions, and sit-down dinners or buffets. Weddings, receptions, banquets, parties, dinners and luncheons are booked through the Banquet & Catering Department, and a celebration can be combined with a round of golf on the course.
