Rathbone Mansions

About Rathbone Mansions

Rathbone Mansions comprises two historic properties on Esplanade Avenue, diagonally across the street from one another near the French Quarter. The event options include an outdoor space at 1244 Esplanade Avenue with exclusive pool and bar access, and the Grand Parlor at 1227 Esplanade Avenue for smaller gatherings. The site also identifies the courtyard and common areas as event options; the properties have distinct settings, including a large front porch at 1244 and a secluded Creole-style courtyard at 1227. The venue lists a capacity of up to 130 guests for the outdoor private-event package and up to 20 for the Grand Parlor; a pool-day package is for up to 15. Full-mansion lodging can be arranged for wedding parties, but lodging does not include exclusive use of common areas for events. Group room and guest counts vary across the site and should be confirmed with the venue.
