About Nature Valley Lodge

Nature Valley Lodge is a handcrafted lakeside lodge wedding and event venue set on a 53-acre family farm in North Lawrence, Ohio. Built over three years by Amish carpenters using Douglas fir beams and hemlock, the 10,000-square-foot lodge offers a blend of rustic charm and modern luxury. The property features a private lake, a 23-acre nature reserve with forested trails, and multiple indoor and outdoor event spaces. Ceremonies can be held on the garden-inspired lawn by the lake, while receptions and dinners take place in the lodge's upper and lower levels, which feature floor-to-ceiling windows, timber beams, and a split staircase. Two garden terraces provide space for cocktails and mingling. On-site lodging accommodates up to 28 guests across three homes: The Farmhouse (sleeps 6), Sherwood Park Ranch (sleeps 12), and Black Walnut (sleeps 10). Wedding packages range from elopements (3 hours, up to 50 guests) to full weekend celebrations (3 days, up to 350 guests). The venue also hosts corporate events, retreats, and private parties. Amenities include climate control, heated floors, a backup generator, parking for 200+ vehicles, and valet service. Catering must be provided by licensed professionals; all beverages are supplied through the venue's bar packages. The venue is currently booking for 2025–2027 seasons.
