Maidenwood is a nature-inspired wedding venue set on a secluded 40-acre private nature reserve in the wooded bluffs of Maiden Rock, Stockholm, and Pepin, Wisconsin, overlooking Lake Pepin of the Mississippi River. The property offers three outdoor ceremony sites: The Pines, an ethereal evergreen forest sanctuary accommodating up to 200 guests; The Prairie, a restored 13-acre native wildflower meadow with panoramic views and seating for 200; and The Forest, an intimate woodland spot. Receptions are held in the modern White Barn, a custom-built event space with attached glass-walled pavilion that provides panoramic views and can serve as a rain backup. The White Barn accommodates up to 200 seated guests, with a preference for 150 and under. Included amenities: handmade wood farm tables, black Chiavari chairs, pre-installed café lighting and ceiling draping, built-in sound system and bar. Getting-ready spaces include a sun-drenched Sunroom for the bridal party and an 1800s Milk House for the groom's party. The venue has a full liquor license with in-house bar packages and no minimum purchase requirements, and an open catering policy allowing any licensed caterer or food truck. Venue rental packages for 2026 and 2027 range from $4,995 to $9,995 depending on day, season, and guest count. The property is under a conservation easement (36 of 40 acres restricted), and active stewardship includes prescribed burns for prairie health. One wedding is hosted per day. Onsite parking, ADA-accessible barn and restrooms, and a six-passenger golf cart for guest transport are provided.
