Loblolly Rise Plantation

About Loblolly Rise Plantation

Loblolly Rise is a private countryside wedding venue between Tallahassee and Thomasville, with pine trees, open fields, and a pond. Its reception barn offers more than 5,000 square feet, with chandelier lighting, a wood-burning fireplace, and an adjoining lawn for outdoor dining, cocktails, and dancing. Couples can choose among ceremony sites beneath an oak tree or pine tree, or beside the pond; the ceremony areas are close to the barn and getting-ready spaces. The bridal cottage includes air conditioning, a king-size bed, lounge and dining areas, a kitchenette, and a private bathroom. A separate groom’s quarters provides climate-controlled lounge space. The venue also offers a catering prep kitchen, restrooms, tables and chairs, lighting, and guest parking. Wedding collections range from intimate gatherings to larger celebrations, with options for day or weekend access and additional services such as setup, coordination, photography, florals, and cake.
