Set on a knoll along Route 228, the chapel and adjacent Lawrence Family cemetery are surrounded by mature trees and a low wall. Inside, wooden pews and leaded-glass windows frame the space. Built for private family and public non-denominational services, the chapel is used for public events such as musical performances and private events, primarily weddings. It is available for use May 1 through October 15, with occupancy limited to 120. The chapel has electricity, minimal heating and no air conditioning. A small parking area provides level access to the door, and attendees may also park along the roadway.
