About Landmark Park

Landmark Park is a 150-acre park on the outskirts of Dothan, Alabama, built around an 1890s living history farm and operated as a living history museum. The grounds include an elevated boardwalk through woods over a creek, nature trails, picnic areas, an Interpretive Center with a planetarium, a Victorian gazebo, and a 1908 Presbyterian church that was moved to the park in 1983. Several areas of the park are available for rent for weddings and other private events. The rentable spaces are the Stokes Activity Barn, an 8,000-square-foot building with a bridal suite added in 2021; the Playground Pavilion; the Victorian gazebo; the Interpretive Center auditorium, with a maximum occupancy of 50; and the Headland Presbyterian Church. The park has no on-site restaurant, guests may bring their own food, and only non-alcoholic beverages may be sold, brought in, or consumed on park property.
