About Lake Rabun Hotel & Restaurant

Lake Rabun Hotel & Restaurant is a historic mountain lodge in Lakemont, across from Lake Rabun in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Built in 1922 and restored in 2008, the property has native-plant gardens, stone walkways, locust-log decks and balconies, and views of the surrounding mountains. The hotel offers wedding services and elopement packages; couples can ask about ceremony planning and related celebrations. The website also describes Forest Lodge as a separate wedding venue, so its spaces and capacity are not attributed here to the hotel. The main hotel has 13 guest rooms, and the on-property Innkeeper’s Cottage has two bedrooms that can be rented together or separately. The hotel restaurant serves seasonal farm-to-table meals, and a full gourmet breakfast is included with lodging. Guest amenities include shared decks and a Tree Top Deck, a parlor with board games and a baby grand piano, a bar, and wireless internet. The hotel’s published reservation policies specify two-night minimum stays for weekends, holidays, and special events.
