About Knock Knock Children's Museum
Knock Knock Children's Museum is a 26,000-square-foot children's museum in BREC's City-Brooks Community Park, along I-10 at the Dalrymple Drive exit in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The building sits atop Knock Knock Hill overlooking the park and has two levels with 18 interactive Learning Zones. The museum can be rented in whole or by floor for corporate events, receptions, workshops, meetings, and adult birthday parties. Its spaces include a two-story open floor plan, a spacious lobby called Knock Knock Square, meeting rooms, a multi-purpose room, and the outdoor Big Back Yard. Rentals can be booked for Mondays without time restrictions, weekday evenings, Saturday and Sunday evenings, and limited weekday mornings on request. Each rental requires a museum event supervisor on site, and setup and breakdown time of one hour before and after the event is included. Basic tables, chairs, and A/V setup are provided as available; tables, linens, and chairs cost extra. Outside food, beverages, decorations, and entertainment may be brought in, and pre-approved outsourced catering or decor is part of the rental offering. Birthday parties take place in a decorated private party room for one hour and thirty minutes, with a party specialist, full-day museum admission for guests, a birthday pass, personalized signage, and paper goods and utensils. Parties are held on Saturdays and Sundays. The host supplies the birthday cake or cupcakes and the food and beverages; outside entertainment and alcoholic beverages are not permitted. Free parking is on site with handicapped spaces and ramp access. All Learning Zones, public restrooms, and outdoor facilities are wheelchair accessible, and an elevator serves each floor.
