About Kilmer Mansion
Kilmer Mansion is a historic Binghamton landmark built in 1898, with turrets, towers, ballrooms, balconies, stonework, woodwork, painted ceilings and marble fireplaces. The mansion hosts weddings and other celebrations, as well as community programs and cultural events. The first-floor kitchen offers caterers a prep space, and a former second-floor family sitting room has been made into a bridal suite with a nearby powder room. The south terrace has a deck with access between the grand parlor and gardens; other terraces and porches remain closed while restoration work continues. The mansion is open to visitors during programs and events. The first floor has a rear ramp entrance; upper floors are accessible only by stairs.
