About Jewel Box

Set within Forest Park, the Jewel Box is a historic Art Deco display greenhouse with a sunlit floral interior, tropical trees, foliage, seasonal displays, and a year-round fountain and water feature. The fountain and water feature can be removed for events. The venue is available for wedding ceremonies, receptions, luncheons, and other special events; the main display area spans about 7,500 square feet. Ceremony capacity is up to 250 guests; receptions accommodate up to 160 without a dance floor or 100 with one. Tables and chairs are included, and events must use an authorized caterer. Reservations are made in person through the Parks Division, with the full rental fee due at booking.

Pricing note

Wedding ceremony rental is $1,250. Reception rental is $1,750 Sunday–Thursday (5–10 p.m.) or $3,250 Friday–Saturday (6 p.m.–midnight); receptions and special events also require a $1,000 security deposit and liability insurance. Fees are for the full listed time slot; rental fees are nonrefundable once paid.
