Inn at Taughannock Falls

Wedding venue in Trumansburg, New York

About Inn at Taughannock Falls

Set on 12 acres between Cayuga Lake and Taughannock Falls State Park, the Inn offers three distinct wedding settings. Enchantment is an outdoor garden venue with a 100-by-60-foot sailcloth tent, 12,550 square feet of blue stone patio, fireplace, fire pits, customizable lighting, and lake and park views; it accommodates up to 300 guests. The Victorian Inn Mansion’s first-floor restaurant includes three rooms, a bar, and an attached patio overlooking the garden, with indoor and outdoor event options and a listed capacity of 31–80 guests. The Jones Room is a private dining space within the mansion for plated meals and intimate celebrations of up to 30, with a fireplace, bay windows, custom sound system, and dimmable lighting. Ceremony options include the Enchantment Garden’s Grand Staircase and Eastern Horizon (up to 300), its Eagle and Fireplace patios (up to 100 each), Hillside Pond (up to 200), the Small Falls in Taughannock Falls State Park (up to 300), and the Grassy Patio (up to 50). Some locations are reserved primarily for Enchantment weddings; Hillside Pond requires reserving all five Hillside Residence rooms and may be difficult to reach for guests with mobility challenges in poor weather. The Small Falls requires permits and contract-specific arrangements, while the Grassy Patio has timing restrictions and is shared with the restaurant. The event team coordinates décor and weather backup plans. Event planning support includes vendor referrals, décor and design, menus, timelines, floor plans, logistics, and day-of coordination. The in-house culinary team prepares customizable food and beverage; outside wedding cakes are allowed with a cake-cutting fee. Enchantment’s rental period is 5.5 hours and can be extended for an additional fee; its listed package includes standard items for up to 150 guests. The Victorian Inn rental is five hours and includes its Mahogany Bar Room, Jones Room, and Bomber Room; deck, patio, and tabletop firepit use is non-exclusive. The Inn offers guest rooms and suites across four buildings and can arrange room blocks, subject to availability. Private-event clients may receive a 20% discount on an associated room block, with no minimum room count or nights requirement. The full estate can be rented, and the restaurant may be bought out for a fee. Booking requires a non-refundable deposit, with additional deposits due as the wedding approaches.
