About Hunt Hill Nature Center

Hunt Hill Nature Center is a nearly 600-acre nature preserve and learning center in northwestern Wisconsin, offering a rustic and natural setting for weddings. The property encompasses glacial lakes, forests, restored prairie, bogs, and over seven miles of hiking trails. Wedding celebrations can be held indoors or outdoors, with ceremony options including the outdoor amphitheater (cedar stage with pergola and stone terraced seating overlooking Twin Lakes), the restored prairie, gardens, or beneath the trees. Reception and gathering spaces include the year-round Richard Grand Recreation Hall (climate-controlled with a warming kitchen, two decks, a stone fireplace, and movable wall dividers), the Barn Dining Hall and Loft (rustic wood-paneled dining hall with commercial kitchen and a vaulted-ceiling loft for dancing), and the Library/Lodge (stone fireplace, piano, suitable for intimate ceremonies). Overnight accommodations for guests are available in two historic cabins (Frances Andrews Cabin sleeps 4–6, Log Cabin sleeps 3–5) and two dormitories (Long Dorm sleeps up to 36, Cross Dorm sleeps up to 45). Main camp facilities are accessible via paved paths and ramps. The venue does not publish specific guest capacities or rental pricing; a 50% reservation deposit is required. Catering can be provided by the renter or an outside caterer using the Barn’s commercial kitchen; beer and wine service is available through venue-hired bartenders.
